Acceptable Use Policy
Rules for safe and lawful use of ClipLumi AI image generation and editing features.
Last updated: 2026-08-06
1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") explains how you may and may not use ClipLumi's AI image generation, image editing, templates, uploads, prompts, and related services (the "Service"). It forms part of the Terms of Service.
ClipLumi is an independent service that provides a custom interface to third-party AI models. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by those model providers unless expressly stated.
2. Your Responsibilities
You may use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must have the rights, permissions, and lawful basis needed to upload, process, edit, publish, or distribute every prompt, image, reference, likeness, logo, trademark, or other material you submit.
Do not upload confidential information, payment-card details, government identifiers, medical records, or personal data that you are not authorized to process.
3. Prohibited Sexual and Exploitative Content
You may not request, create, upload, edit, or distribute:
- NSFW, sexually explicit, sexually suggestive, pornographic, fetish, exploitative, or otherwise harmful sexual content.
- Non-consensual intimate imagery or sexualized depictions of a real person.
- Any sexual content involving a person under 18 or a person who may reasonably appear to be under 18.
- Child sexual abuse material, grooming content, or content that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers minors.
- Bestiality, sexual violence, incest, or other abusive sexual content.
4. No Face Swap, Deepfake, or Identity Manipulation
ClipLumi does not permit face-swap, deepfake, identity-replacement, or impersonation workflows. You may not:
- Replace one person's face or identity with another person's face or identity.
- Create deceptive media that falsely represents a real person as saying, doing, endorsing, or participating in something.
- Imitate a celebrity, public figure, private individual, or identifiable person for fraud, harassment, political deception, sexual content, or reputational harm.
- Bypass this rule by using euphemisms, obfuscated prompts, reference images, or repeated edits.
Ordinary photo corrections such as exposure, color, crop, background cleanup, and non-deceptive texture refinement may be allowed when they do not replace identity, create an impersonation, or materially misrepresent a real person.
5. Violence, Hate, Harassment, and Dangerous Activity
You may not use the Service for credible threats, targeted harassment, hateful or extremist propaganda, terrorism, graphic abuse, instructions for violent wrongdoing, or content intended to intimidate or seriously harm a person or protected group.
6. Fraud, Deception, and Illegal Activity
You may not create or edit materials for phishing, identity theft, forged documents, fake evidence, scams, deceptive advertising, election interference, financial fraud, malware, credential theft, or other unlawful activity.
You may not use generated or edited media to mislead people about the authenticity, source, ownership, approval, or factual status of a person, product, event, or transaction.
7. Intellectual Property and Privacy
You may not infringe copyrights, trademarks, publicity rights, privacy rights, contractual rights, or other rights. Do not remove ownership marks, fabricate endorsements, clone protected characters or artwork for unlawful commercial use, or process another person's private images without authorization.
8. Safety Controls and Automated Screening
Prompts may be screened before generation by ClipLumi, Creem, and other safety providers. Generated outputs may also be screened. A request may be blocked when it is denied, flagged, cannot be safely evaluated, appears designed to bypass controls, or otherwise presents legal, safety, payment, or abuse risk.
You may not attempt to evade filters, rate limits, account restrictions, credit controls, or security systems. When mandatory prompt screening is unavailable, ClipLumi may temporarily block generation rather than process the request without review.
9. Enforcement
We may refuse a request, remove eligible content, limit features, suspend or terminate an account, preserve relevant records, reverse improperly obtained benefits, or report activity when reasonably necessary to enforce this Policy, comply with law, protect users, or reduce fraud and payment risk.
Enforcement decisions may consider prompts, uploads, outputs, repeated attempts, account history, payment activity, and efforts to circumvent safeguards.
10. Reporting and Contact
Report suspected abuse or ask a policy question by emailing support@cliplumi.com. Include enough information for us to review the issue, but do not send complete payment-card details or unlawful content by email.
